Who is responsible for your data?
Mitra Medical Services (MMS), Ireland, is responsible for personal data it uses to operate this website and respond to enquiries. For privacy requests, email info@mms.ie. This notice covers this website and initial enquiries; any subsequent recruitment, care, training or treatment arrangement may require a separate privacy notice.
Information we handle
- Enquiry information: your name, selected service and any phone number, email address or message you choose to provide.
- Correspondence: messages and contact details received when you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp.
- Technical information: IP address, requested pages, request times, browser and device information, and security or error events processed by infrastructure providers.
The enquiry form prepares your message in your browser. It does not submit the form to an MMS website database. Selecting “Open WhatsApp to send” includes your draft in a WhatsApp link and shares it with that service; you then choose whether to send the message. Browser history or the messaging service may retain the link or draft. Information sent directly to MMS is handled as correspondence.
Please do not include medical records, identity documents or other sensitive information in an initial enquiry. Where health or other special-category information is genuinely required later, the appropriate process, Article 6 legal basis and Article 9 condition must be explained before collection.

Required form fields are needed to prepare a useful enquiry. You can choose not to provide optional information or contact us by email instead. We do not use the website enquiry form to make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Hosting and other providers
The production website is intended to use Vercel for hosting and Cloudflare for website delivery and security. When enabled, these providers process technical requests and related security or operational data. The information retained depends on the deployed services, configuration and provider terms.
WhatsApp handles messages under its own terms and EEA privacy policy. Email providers and authorised support personnel may process correspondence as necessary to provide their services. Providers may act as processors or independent controllers depending on the activity.
The contact page contains a Google Maps embed. Loading the map connects your browser to Google, which may receive your IP address, browser information and the page reference, and may use its own cookies. See Google’s Privacy Policy. External social links connect to their respective platforms when opened.
We may disclose information where required by law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. We do not sell enquiry information.
International transfers
Hosting, security, email and messaging providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where GDPR transfer restrictions apply, transfers require an applicable adequacy decision or suitable safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses with any necessary additional measures. Contact us to ask about safeguards relevant to your information.
A general website enquiry does not automatically send your details to a provider in Kerala, India. Before sharing information with an overseas treatment or wellness provider, the recipient, purpose, relevant legal basis and transfer arrangements must be explained separately. Please do not send clinical records through the website form.
Retention and security
We retain correspondence only for as long as needed to answer and manage your enquiry, provide any agreed service, meet applicable record-keeping duties, or deal with a complaint or legal claim. The relevant criteria include whether the enquiry is ongoing, whether it becomes a service relationship, and any applicable statutory or professional retention requirements. Infrastructure log retention depends on the enabled provider features and configuration. You may ask us about the retention applicable to your information.
Access should be limited to people who need it for their work, with appropriate technical and organisational safeguards. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Avoid sending sensitive information until an appropriate channel has been agreed.
Your rights in Ireland
Under the GDPR and Ireland’s Data Protection Act 2018, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict use of your information, obtain a portable copy where applicable, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting prior lawful processing. These rights are subject to the conditions and exceptions in data protection law.
Send requests to info@mms.ie. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity. We normally respond within one month; where a lawful extension is needed, we will explain it within that first month.
You can complain to Ireland’s Data Protection Commission, or another competent supervisory authority. You do not need to contact us first.
Changes to this notice
We will update this notice when the website, providers or processing activities change. The date above identifies the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated where required.
